Islamic Humanitarian Foundation and Sheikh Salis Shaban Foundation under the Auspices of His Spiritual Eminence, Sheikh Mohammed Salis Shaban, The Tijaniya Spiritual Cleric (Ghana, Togo, Benin) wish to announce to the general public that the Golden Jubilee Maulid of Sheikh Ibrahim Niass shall take place on Saturday, 23rd April, 2016 at Kawukudi Park, Accra-Ghana.
Islamic Humanitarian Foundation and Sheikh Salis Shaban Foundation under the Auspices of His Spiritual Eminence, Sheikh Mohammed Salis Shaban, The Tijaniya Spiritual Cleric (Ghana, Togo, Benin) wish to announce to the general public that the Golden Jubilee Maulid of Sheikh Ibrahim Niass shall take place on Saturday, 23rd April, 2016 at Kawukudi Park, Accra-Ghana.
Every
year since 1966, Sheikh Salis Shaban organizes “MAULID” a major Islamic event
in Ghana that gathers over 4,000 Muslims across the globe and that occasion is
used to spread important messages on peace, national unity, education,
sanitation amongst others.
On 23rd January 2016, the
foundation organized a successful maiden conference of Muslim organizations on
understanding climate change in collaboration with YALI LEARNS, Young African
leaders Initiative, a President Obama Initiative.
This
April’s celebration will be the Golden Jubilee anniversary and the focus of the
programme will be on climate change.
Turnout is expected to be around 6,000 with key influential Islamic
leaders across West Africa and beyond attending. We have outlined series of
programmes and events for the celebration as

good opportunity to strongly contribute positively to the global agenda of
tackling climate change by influencing the multitudes of Muslim leaders and
Imams that will be attending the event to take action.
